Ayden got his first haircut Saturday, September 13th, and it was a family affair. Bruce and Diane, the maternal grandparents, Tracy, Em and I all met at the hairdresser’s to witness the event. Em and I had our fears that he would be fussy, but he was a little angel. He went from looking like a baby to a little man in just a few minutes. We captured it with photos and video, and of course, I just had to share.

A year ago today, we got the diagnosis on Mama’s condition, a 10cm tumor in her right lung. This past week has really been tough with me not being able to get her off my mind. I know that she would want to be remembered in happier, healthier times. So instead of dwelling on her illness and death, I’m going to celebrate her life.
