Kaylee spent the night with us on the 16th. It had been several weeks since I had seen her. She’s such a good girl, but she just does not like to go to bed at night. She wants to watch tv, look at her books, color or anything that will keep her occupied so she doesn’t get sleepy. She ended up sleeping with us that night and finally went to sleep around 11:30. She slept right next to me too and cuddled. She woke me up the next morning saying “Wake up Granny”. Now how could I resist that!
I babysat Ayden on the 18th. He was 2 months old that day. He’s almost doubled his birth weight. He’s such a sweetie. He’s starting to smile and I notice a couple of times he was trying to talk to one of his toys. He really melts my heart.
I spent today cleaning out the pond and the filter in the backyard. When that was done, I went out to the front yard lily pond and Richard and I drained and cleaned it out. I transferred over 20 fish that were in the lily pond to the backyard pond and put the rest in another pond tub while we were cleaning out the pond. I was amazed there were over 90 goldies. One of the lilies has 4 buds coming up so it will be blooming soon.
